Social media advocacy campaigns to ignite global action for the SDGs, including the 2023 Water Conference and SDG Summit.


One of four creative producers at the UN’s freshly-founded Digital Campaigns Unit, a division of the Department of Global Communications in New York. We produced the official campaign for the 2023 Water Conference, published across the UN’s global social media channels. My responsibilities included pre-campaign research, content mapping, scripting and producing asset ideas and designing final assets. My team and I also produced assets for an evergreen SDG 6 campaign and contributed to building a visual design system for the upcoming SDG Summit in September 2023 (in collaboration with Blossom, a creative agency based in Italy). Other work includes a "Climate Mythbusters" campaign with Gabrielle Merite, a "Peace and Justice" information campaign, and 3 design trainings I conducted for 200+ UNIC (United Nations Information Center) staff around the world.

Content strategy to help early-career product designers find programs that help unlock their full potential.


How can ambitious career opportunities be made accessible for early-career product designers? Through my role at ownpath, an alternative design education platform, I led communications, content, community, and growth to bridge the gap between mid-to-senior career product designers, their career growth, and industry leaders. I planned and executed our top-of-the-funnel marketing efforts, drove all content initiatives including social media, blog, newsletter and email marketing, organized outreach events and workshops, and facilitated community engagements with design industry leaders. Focused on high-quality content targeting mid-to-senior career designers, our organic marketing efforts drove our overall customer acquisition and brand awareness. In addition to our overall communications and content strategy, I oversaw our brand and web design, interviewed ownpath's mentors and industry leaders to produce stories about design and people, packaged and launched two new programs (the User Research Fellowship and the Design Residency) and our new series of standalone workshops, performed user research to inform upcoming campaigns, and led our online and in-person community engagements.

Spearheaded design, social media campaigns, outreach, and content strategy for our financial workshops over 5 years. As a part of the executive team, I also co-created and facilitated 20+ workshops and webinars on investing in mutual funds, budgeting, and other aspects of financial planning. My role also involved outreach partnerships, brand awareness, lead generation, customer acquisition, and community engagements. I thoroughly enjoyed using social media campaigns as a device to increase financial acumen in women. Having set up the organization's brand identity, I also led a team of 3 interns to oversee our marketing campaigns and merchandise wing - Goddess Merchandise.

Product ideation, design, and execution for Mithra Trust, a mental health support organization. I was the key co-creator of The Meh Kitβ„’, along with the Founder, Bhairavi Prakash. The kit is a self-discovery tool to ride out episodes of depression. I also co-created and designed, Sky is the Limit, an award-winning 8-month-long mental health awareness campaign that catered to corporate employees.

Directly working with the Chief Business Officer of cancer genomics start-up Kyvor Genomics, I worked on investment deck research and creation, assisted with business strategy and research, competitive analyses, and market research, along with managing in-house operations and overseeing the company's branding and communications. I also worked closely with the CEO and CSO in optimizing the company's evolving genomics report format, scientific presentations, and press releases.
